Lightning over Southport, South Australia
While photographing the wonderful seascapes South Australia has to offer, one evening a storm approached from the horizon. Before I knew it, it was right over top. Standing ankle deep in water with a metal tripod in the middle of a lightning storm has it’s concerns 😛 I was lucky enough to capture this bolt right in front of me. And this is with a ultra-wide angle lens as well! I predict it would have been closer than 100m. Needless to say, this was my very last shot for the evening, lol.
