Kongsberg, Norway

May 3, 2018

3 months in Iceland and Norway was quite the journey, with the scenery in that part of the world both unique and spectacular at the same time. A place definitely worth going out of your way for. We hired a car for the 3 month road trip, which was a great day to get to and from where we wanted to go, along with those extra little side journeys we always seemed to discover.

After exploring the south western fjords in Norway, we headed east to catch up with my friend, local Norwegian photographer Christian Hoiberg, from Capture Landscapes. He was kind enough to show me around his area, in which the panorama above is from. It was quite the nice area, with plenty of tucked away serene lake scenes where you could imagine spending a lot of time photographing it in snow in the winter, and relaxing in summer.
