Hooker lake reflections
Spending the evening shooting at Hooker lake, there were plenty of composition opportunities. However, one of my favourites was of this reflection shot in a little rock pool I discovered. This photograph is made up from 7 focus stacked photos (due to the large depth of field + 1 more for a correct sky exposure.
It was actually a difficult shot to take, because this reflection was on a rock that was a third of the way out in the river, and the only footing I had to use was some unstable rocks that were just surfacing out from the fast moving river, below. Also, setting my tripod up on the edge of the rock was also a challenge. But all in all, the effort was worth it, as this shot turned out quite nice.
