A 30 second long exposure of the waves crashing on the rocks of Playa Maderas in southern Nicaragua. A picturesque beach with interesting cliff formations and waves all day long for those surfers out there…

In order to get this shot I used a long shutter speed to create that 'misty' effect of the water as it crashed over the rocks in the foreground. The shot was taken around about 20 minutes after the sun dipped below the horizon.
