Photo highlights for 2015
This last year has come and gone so quick, it seems like I was writing my January newsletter just the other day. I’d like to now take an opportunity and look back on all the photo highlights for 2015, and pick out some of my favourites that I’ve taken throughout the year. While this year wasn’t quite as explosive as 2014, there’s been some really interesting photography opportunities and advances that have taken place. Let’s have a look!
Having concentrated on international locations for the last 10 years, a few interstate trips to Queensland and New South Wales provided me with an opportunity to photograph areas of my home continent I’d yet to reach.
The Daintree Rainforest, northern Queensland
Leura Cascades, NSW
South Australia’s Deep Creek
On assignment in the middle of the South Pacific, photographing the beautiful island chain that makes up Samoa, for New Zealand’s Destinations Magazine. Here I explored the two main islands Upolu and Savai’i, photographing the numeral cascades, pristine blue waters, enchanting waterfalls, and colourful jungle. An amazing experience (and opportunity) to visit such a stunning and untouched area of this world.
I’d just like to thank everyone for the support they’ve given me this last year. It’s very much appreciated! I hope you have all had a great 2015 and have the opportunity to finish it with a fantastic Christmas and New Year. Look forward to seeing you all in 2016.
